I recently sold my 2000 BMW Z3 Coupe. Affectionately known as the 'clownshoe' due to it's unique look, it's become one of the most sought after BMW's from the late 90's/Early 2000's.
My car was one of 2,071 cars manufactured for North America, and one of 299 in it's color combination built over a five year period. To put things in perspective the top selling vehicle in the US in 2015, the Ford F-150, sold 780,354 units.
It's a very simple car by today's standards and not what one normally envisions when someone thinks of a BMW: Normally aspirated straight 6 motor, manual transmission, Cassette deck head unit. It's purity added to it's charm. While i'm sad to part with the car, the memories I had will last forever.
Below is a video I filmed of the coupe in my hometown of Detroit as well as photos out and about.
I was honored to have BMW share the image I took of my coupe on their official Instagram page, where it was liked over 101,000 times!
